Job summary

Exclaim IT in Brisbane is seeking two seasoned sysadmins to join a large government environment on a hybrid basis. You will support a modern workplace stack, ensuring critical services run smoothly across desktops, mobiles, and tablets.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, end-user mobility management, and strengthening endpoint security, with ITIL-aligned processes in ServiceNow to guide operations.

Qualifications

• Seasoned sysadmin with MOE and modern endpoint management experience.
• Experience in corporate/enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication in ITIL-based support.

Responsibilities

• Own end-user MOE across desktops, mobiles and tablets.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services (Teams Voice/Rooms).
• Configure and maintain MDM/MAM for Windows, iOS and Android (Intune).
• Support an ITIL-aligned environment within ServiceNow.
• Strengthen endpoint security using Defender products.

About the role

We’re looking for two seasoned sysadmins to join a large, fast-moving government environment in Brisbane (hybrid), supporting a modern workplace stack and keeping critical services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support the end-user MOE across desktops/laptops, mobiles and tablets, including packaging and operational uplift
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Teams Voice and Teams Meeting Rooms
• Configure and maintain MDM/MAM for Windows, iOS/iPadOS and Android (e.g., Intune/Endpoint Manager)
• Support an ITIL-aligned environment, including working within ServiceNow
• Strengthen endpoint security using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Microsoft 365 Defender

Highly desirable criteria

• Proven engineering/operations experience across MOE + modern endpoint management in a corporate/enterprise environment.

Desirable criteria

• Exposure to technologies such as Autopilot, SCCM, Azure, AWS, RDS/Windows 365, PowerShell, and device policies/configuration profiles.
