WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Sustaining Capital team in Perth, WA. You will deliver structural engineering solutions for brownfield mining and minerals processing projects, including design checks for steelwork, reinforced concrete, and foundations, across conveyors, chutes, and platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience as a Structural Engineer within mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with materials handling infrastructure, particularly conveyors and associated structures.
• Sound knowledge of Australian structural design standards.
• Ability to work independently, undertake checking and solve complex structural problems.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with multidisciplinary and client teams.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver structural engineering and design across brownfield mining and minerals processing projects
• Design and check structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and foundations
• Work across conveyors, transfer stations, crushing and screening structures, chutes, pipe racks, platforms and equipment support structures
• Assess existing structures and develop modification, remediation and strengthening solutions
• Provide engineering support through design, fabrication and construction and review structural models, drawings and vendor information
• Respond to technical queries and work closely with designers, engineers, contractors and client teams
• Check and review the work of other engineers and provide technical guidance where required
