Interquip in West Perth seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design and provision of technical support within the Engineering team. The role involves guiding Project and Construction managers and gaining broader exposure to Interquip operations.

The successful candidate will have a civil/structural engineering degree, 6+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations, with mining and construction industry background.

Competenze

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the structural or civil engineering field.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant regulations.
• Previous mining and construction industry experience.
• Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
• High experience using SpaceGass and AutoCAD.

• Supervision of structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
• Investigate, assess, and resolve engineering problems.
• Analysis, development, and composition of technical documents.
• Structural and civil design.
• Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
• Proposing and analysing improvements to designs and to procedures.
• Review drawings to confirm compliance with design.
