Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Structural Integrity Engineer to support sustaining capital mining projects and industrial assets in Perth. You will lead structural integrity assessments, develop inspection strategies, and ensure safe operations across lifecycle stages.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, are Chartered or pursuing chartership, and have 10+ years in related sectors with strong FFS and asset management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil or structural engineering.
• CPEng or working towards chartership preferred.
• 10+ years in structural engineering, mining/oil & gas a plus.
• Experience with integrity and asset management programs.
• Strong inspection interpretation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural integrity assessments for steel, concrete, and other assets.
• Perform FFS, remaining life, and reliability evaluations.
• Review inspection findings and recommend repairs and life extension.
• Conduct structural analysis for defects, fatigue, corrosion and damage.
• Develop and implement inspection, monitoring, and maintenance programs.
• Support risk-based inspection and asset integrity management systems.
• Provide input for brownfield projects and capital upgrades.
• Investigate structural failures and identify root causes.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specs and scopes of work.
