Succession Partners Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks a Senior Strata Underwriter to shape a growing strata portfolio. You will underwrite a portfolio of residential and commercial strata risks and build broker relationships nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience underwriting Property and/or large Strata risk.
• Strong technical underwriting skills with sound commercial judgement.

• Established relationships within the Strata or broker community are highly regarded.
• Able to thrive in a lean, fast-moving start-up environment.

A newly established underwriting agency is building its Sydney team and is seeking a Senior Strata Underwriter to play a key role in shaping its strata portfolio from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up underwriting agency at an early stage — helping build broker relationships, define underwriting appetite, and grow a book in one of the most active corners of the Australian insurance market.

The Role

• Underwrite a portfolio of Residential & Commercial Strata risks, applying strong technical judgement across pricing, terms and risk selection
• Build and manage relationships with brokers and strata managers nationally
• Represent the agency at industry events, broker meetings and within the wider strata community
• Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and appetite as the agency scales
• Work closely with leadership to help shape the direction of the strata book

About You
