Job summary

CHU is Australia’s leading Strata Underwriting agency, part of the Steadfast Group. This 12-month fixed term contract role offers an opportunity to apply your insurance knowledge within a growing, high-performing team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in property underwriting
• Understanding of quality service standards
• High level skills in organisation, time management & problem solving
• Previous Strata specific Underwriting experience
• Knowledge of Strata Management Industry
• Established relationships in broker market

Responsibilities

• Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service within agreed workflow timeframes
• Underwriting renewals, new business & endorsements in line with your underwriting authority level
• Provide premium quotes in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring and reporting on loss ratio
• Actively implementing risk improvements on a regular basis

Reporting to the UnderwritingTeam Leader, this 12 month Fixed Term Contract role will offer the successful candidate a wonderful opportunity to use your insurance knowledge and flair, working in a growing and high-performing team.The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative, a commitment to excellence in client service, must be a team player and have ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.

The role will involve;

Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service within agreed workflow timeframes.

Underwriting renewals, new business & endorsements in line with your underwriting authority level

Provide premium quotes in a timely and professional manner

Monitoring and reporting on loss ratio

Actively implementing risk improvements on a regular basis
