Job summary

GitHub is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in Australia to provide technical sales support for enterprise customers, focused on ANZ. You will engage in pre-sales activities, build relationships, and guide customers through digital transformation using GitHub's platform.

The role involves collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to craft strategic plans, run proofs of concept, and demonstrate GitHub Advanced Security capabilities aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively at a business proficiency level in English.
• Ability to travel up to 25% throughout Australia & New Zealand to meet with customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage in pre-sales activities with large customers to align and influence business partners and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain external relationships within the customer organization to support strategic alignment and solution adoption.
• Identify customer issues and collaborate with technical teams to present solutions, conducting proofs of concept and product demos.
