Job summary

GitHub is seeking an SMB Senior Account Executive to develop and execute account plans, meet revenue targets, and build relationships with executives across customer organizations. You will lead virtual teams, advocate for customer needs, and drive sales growth in the Small/Medium Business segment.

The role emphasizes consultative engagement, knowledge of MEDDPICC, Challenger/Value frameworks, and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in technology-related sales or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Liberal Arts, or related field, AND 2+ years' experience in technology-related sales or a related field.
• MBA in Business Administration AND 1+ year(s) experience in technology-related sales or a related field.
• Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to meet revenue targets and customer needs.
• Establish and maintain executive relationships with decision-makers in customer organizations.
• Lead virtual teams and stakeholders to expand relationships and drive sales acceleration.
• Advocate for customer business and technology needs to align with GitHub solutions.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
