Job summary

Sumo Logic, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be the primary technical resource for our ANZ Accounts team, sharing product and technical expertise across security and observability use cases through demos, POVs, and technical evaluations.

You will guide customers through opportunities, build trusted advisory relationships, and work cross-functionally to improve our platform. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to apply your knowledge and help customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in CS/Engineering; MS preferred.
• 4+ years in Solutions Engineer/Architect roles with customer exposure.
• Hands-on security product knowledge: IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, etc.
• Experience with open source telemetry (Telegraf, FluentBit, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead and run technical validations like POV.
• Experience selling pure SaaS multi-tenant solutions.
• Cloud platform experience: AWS, GCP, Azure (certifications preferred).
• Understanding of modern infra: servers, networking, storage.
• Experience with microservices, containers; Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda.
• Familiar with monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, New Relic.
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand challenges and articulate value.
• Close complex opportunities through technical credibility.
• Lead technical validations during Proof of Value.
• Engage with executives to developers and SREs.
• Deliver product and technical demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to improve service.
