Job summary

Hunter Homes in the Tamworth region is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor to oversee the construction of multiple residential projects from start to finish. You will work closely with our Construction, Client Liaison and Contract Administration teams to ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to Hunter Homes' high standards.

As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will manage on-site teams, coordinate trades, monitor schedules and quality, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee residential construction projects from site commencement through to completion.
• Provide guidance, support and mentoring to Cadet Site Supervisors and other staff.
• Coordinate and supervise trades and contractors across multiple projects.
• Ensure construction programs, schedules and milestones are maintained.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with plans and standards.
• Manage site safety and ensure WHS requirements are followed.
• Coordinate trades and materials to minimise delays and maintain flow.
• Identify and resolve construction issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Communicate progress with Construction Manager and internal teams.
• Liaise professionally with clients, trades, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor workmanship, site presentation and overall project quality.
• Mentor and support other construction team members as required.
• Represent Hunter Homes professionally throughout the construction process.

About the Role

As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple residential projects from commencement through to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee residential construction projects from site commencement through to completion.
• Provide guidance, support and mentoring to Cadet Site Supervisors and other construction staff when required, assisting with their development, knowledge and understanding of residential construction processes.
• Coordinate and supervise trades and contractors across multiple projects.
• Ensure construction programs, schedules and milestones are maintained.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, building standards and company requirements.
• Manage site safety and ensure WHS requirements are consistently followed.

• Communicate regularly with the Construction Manager and internal teams regarding project progress.

About You -

We are looking for a Senior Site Supervisor who has:

Initial Training

To ensure you are fully supported in the role and familiar with Hunter Homes' systems, processes and construction standards, initial training will be conducted across our Hunter and Mid North Coast regions for approximately four weeks. This training will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside our experienced construction team and gain a strong understanding of the Hunter Homes way of working before transitioning into the Tamworth region.
