Job summary

UpBuild Constructions is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead commercial construction projects on the Central Coast/ Hunter regions. You will oversee site operations from establishment through practical completion, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while managing subcontractors and stakeholders.

You will champion planning, reporting and continuous improvement, fostering strong client relationships and delivering projects in live environments with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor delivering commercial projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination of subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management to coordinate multiple fronts.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and programs.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
• Experience in live environments like schools or healthcare facilities is valued.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the [Project Manager?], you'll take ownership of the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from site establishment through to practical completion. You'll lead site operations with professionalism, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the exceptionally high standards our clients have come to expect. This is a leadership role for someone who values structure, accountability and disciplined project delivery as much as craftsmanship and construction knowledge. You'll be empowered to make decisions, solve problems proactively and contribute to the continual improvement of our systems, people and project outcomes.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor delivering commercial, government or institutional construction projects.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple stakeholders.

Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts simultaneously.

High-level problem-solving and decision-making capability, with the confidence to proactively resolve issues before they impact programme, budget or quality.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, email management, digital reporting platforms and construction management software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, consultants and project teams.

A sound understanding of WHS legislation, quality assurance processes, environmental compliance and risk management.

Experience working in live operational environments such as schools, healthcare facilities or commercial sites will be highly regarded.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, programmes and contract documentation.

Current White Card, driver's licence and relevant trade qualification.
