Job summary

Talent Partner Australia is assisting a respected builder delivering major Newcastle and Hunter region developments. The Site Manager role leads commercial and multi-residential projects, focusing on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, read drawings and schedules, and drive programmes using Procore or similar tools. A strong leadership style and knowledge of NCC requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Site Manager or similar in commercial or multi-residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, NCC requirements and construction methods.
• Experience delivering large scale commercial and Class 2 residential projects.
• WH&S legislation and site safety management experience.
• White Card and current driver's licence.
• Ability to read drawings and construction programmes.
• Procore experience preferred.

In this key role, you will take charge in managing critical stages of construction, from structures to finishes, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme outcomes and ensuring the highest standards onsite are maintained.

Our client is an established commercial and multi-residential builder delivering high-quality projects across the region. With a reputation for quality, performance and respectful client relationships, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team and lead the successful delivery of commercial and Class 2 residential projects. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from commencement through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager, Foreman or Senior Supervisor within commercial or multi-residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, NCC requirements and construction methodology.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large scale commercial and Class 2 residential projects.
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation and site safety management.
• White Card and current driver's licence.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Proficiency with construction management software, preferably Procore.

Desirable

• Builder's Licence or relevant trade qualification.
• Experience delivering Class 2 multi-residential projects.
• Experience with ISO-certified management systems.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience using digital construction systems such as Procore, OneBreadcrumb and Cupix.
