Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment – North Sydney NSW is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee residential builds from start to finish. You will work closely with trades, suppliers, clients and the internal construction team to ensure projects progress to program.

The role offers strong training and development, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to advance into more senior positions within a well-established builder’s custom homes space.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Carpentry and Cert IV in Building & Construction – essential.
• Residential new home building experience.
• Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working with trades and managing multiple priorities.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residential new build projects from commencement through to completion.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors on site.
• Manage construction schedules and ensure homes progress to program.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship.
• Ensure projects are built in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards.
• Manage site safety and maintain a clean and organised site.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams throughout the build.
• Identify and resolve issues as they arise on site.
• Maintain accurate site records and construction documentation.

We are working exclusively with a custom homebuilder based in North Sydney. They have an consistent pipeline of new homes and are looking to grow their construction team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in site supervision, with 1+ years’ experience who is keen to continue developing their skills.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for managing residential builds from start to finish, working closely with trades, suppliers, clients and the internal construction team.

The business has a strong focus on training and development, so you’ll have support around you as you continue to develop your knowledge and confidence as a Site Supervisor in the custom homes space.
