Job summary

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Shutdown Manager to lead the Maintenance & Shutdowns team in WA, driving major shutdowns and maintenance programs from planning to close-out. You will oversee planning, mobilisation, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple sites, reporting to the Client Manager.

As a senior leader, you will develop and mentor Supervisors and site leadership, ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while upholding

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in senior leadership roles within the mining and resources sector.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary operational teams across multiple work fronts.
• Strong knowledge of shutdown planning, scheduling, mobilisation, execution, and close-out.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead shutdown planning, mobilisation, execution, and demobilisation activities.
• Ensure shutdown readiness through effective planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractor requirements.
• Deliver shutdowns safely while achieving productivity, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Monitor progress and critical path activities, implementing recovery plans where required.
• Lead and develop Superintendents, Coordinators, Supervisors, and site leadership teams.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
