Job summary

Richglen Maintenance Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead major shutdowns and projects in the Mackay region. Reporting to the Operations Manager – Shutdowns, you will chair planning meetings, guide Superintendents and project teams, and oversee safety, quality and commercial outcomes across large-scale mining and heavy industrial programs.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, risk management and delivering outcomes to clients while growing the Shutdowns business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or similar qualification desirable.
• Significant experience in coal mining, heavy industrial maintenance, shutdowns or project environments.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills, including budgets and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, control and close-out of major shutdowns and projects.
• Provide leadership to Superintendents, Supervisors and project teams.
• Maintain accountability for project safety, quality, schedule, resources and performance.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client representatives.
