Job summary

Richglen is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major shutdowns and projects in Mackay, Central Queensland. You will oversee planning, execution, safety, quality, schedule and commercial outcomes, reporting to the Operations Manager – Shutdowns, and mentor Superintendents and project teams.

You will build strong client relationships, manage budgets and contracts, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement across the Shutdowns division in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or similar qualification is required.
• Significant experience leading coal mining/heavy industrial shutdowns or projects.
• Strong commercial, financial, and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, control and close-out of major shutdowns and projects.
• Provide leadership to Superintendents, Supervisors and project teams.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, resources and costs.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and document project communications.
