Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Business Development Representative in Sydney to drive sales by identifying and qualifying leads, initiating conversations, and creating opportunities. You will nurture relationships and connect with prospects, contributing to revenue growth in the ANZ market.

You will work with Account Executives, manage outbound outreach, and maintain a strong prospect database while meeting ambitious quarterly targets and using SFDC for lead status updates.

Qualifications

• Outbound prospecting/inside sales experience preferably within Tech / SAAS solutions.
• Over 2 years of experience in this field or similar.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Account Executives to develop an account plan and approach target customers.
• Transform Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Opportunities by educating prospects.
• Nurture leads until they progress in the sales cycle and convey value.
• Schedule product demonstrations and intro meetings between AEs and prospects.
• Maintain and expand the database of prospects and update SFDC with current lead status.
• Take live chats and phone calls and follow up via phone and email on leads from various sources.
