Job summary

Emeco is seeking a Senior Rental Administrator in Mackay to oversee rental claims, billing and contractual recoveries while supporting the Administration team. This role suits someone with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel experience and a background in rental or contract administration who enjoys ownership and process improvement.

You'll guide the Rental Coordinator team, manage invoices and reconciliations, monitor outstanding claims and escalate issues as required, while maintaining

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in rental administration, claims, billing or contract administration.
• Experience coordinating a team and supporting performance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems such as SAP, Pronto or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and guiding the Rental Coordinator team, including workload allocation and training.
• Overseeing rental claims, invoices, credits and reconciliations.
• Ensuring billing accuracy in line with contracts and commercial terms.
• Managing rental back charges and contractual recoveries.
• Monitoring outstanding claims, approvals and disputes, escalating issues as required.
• Reviewing claims, investigating discrepancies and resolving billing issues.
• Maintaining accurate contract records and supporting documentation.
• Improving reporting tools, processes and billing procedures.
