Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a proactive Second In Charge (2IC) at Maroubra Medical Centre on a fixed full-time 6-month contract. You will support the Practice Manager with daily operations and help lead the reception team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will improve patient bookings and front desk activities, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering high standards of service in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Must have prior leadership, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with the daily operations of the medical centre.
• Assist with leading, mentoring, and supporting the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk activities.
• Complete administrative and reception tasks as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance support.
