Job summary

Myhealth is seeking a warm, professional Senior Medical Receptionist (2IC) to join our Rhodes practice on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. You’ll support the Practice Manager, manage front-of-house operations, and be a key contact for patients and clinicians.

With 1–2 years of reception experience in healthcare, you’ll oversee diary scheduling, appointments, and waitlists while maintaining smooth daily operations and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of reception experience in general practice/healthcare settings.
• Best Practice experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS and Private Health Insurance billings preferred.
• Strong multitasking abilities and prioritisation of workflow.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a drive to help patients and the practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations and service delivery.
• Handle day-to-day reception duties and patient enquiries.
• Oversee diary scheduling with the Clinical Team and manage waitlists.
• Coordinate appointments, bookings and rescheduling with the team.
• Support front-of-house operations and act as a contact for patients and doctors.
