Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a senior project manager in Australia to lead and oversee complex programmes for diverse clients. You will serve as the primary client interface, coordinate design and construction activities, and drive projects to successful completion.

The role requires demonstrated leadership, 5+ years in project management, and strong English communication. Experience with Primavera and MS Office is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 5+ years project management experience (client side/consulting).
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft skills; Primavera is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong bid/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
• Manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review project plans, scheduling, costs, discrepancies and potential construction problems.
• Manage project safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.
• Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track.
• Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
