Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Australia to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.

You will develop working relationships, drive problem-solving, manage design processes to meet client requirements, schedule, cost and risk, and chair meetings with clients, consultants and contractors. Strong leadership and English communication essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (Engineering/Construction/Project Management).
• Experience in client-facing consulting is ideal.
• Thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft skills; Primavera experience highly regarded.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong bid/report writing skills.
• Strong leadership and team development ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and drive projects to successful completion.
• Manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review project plans, scheduling, costs savings, discrepancies and potential construction problems.
• Manage project safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.
• Manage budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track.
• Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Engage in marketing and business development initiatives.
