Job summary

Candidates should hold an Electrical Engineering degree and have experience with PSCAD, PSSE, PowerFactory or Python, plus strong analytical, reporting and collaboration skills; RPEQ/NER/CPEng qualifications are valued for Principal level.

This role offers a path to technical leadership and exposure to large-scale energy transition projects in Australia.

Qualifications

• Has degree in Electrical Engineering and practical strong analytical, reporting and collaboration skills.
• Experience with power system studies, grid connection analyses and modelling.
• Proficiency with PSCAD, PSSAEE, PowerFactory or Python.
• RPEQ, NER and/or CPEng accreditation is valued for Principal level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver power system modelling and analysis across generation, renewable energy and microgrid projects.
• Execute and review studies using PSCAD, PSSE and PowerFactory.
• Support model development, validation, benchmarking and cross-platform conversion.
• Undertake grid connection studies and ensure compliance with Australian markets.
• Complete system sizing, design validation and tuning studies.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
