Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Power Systems Engineer - Team Leader in Queensland to guide a high‑performing multidisciplinary team delivering integrated energy solutions. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with clients, and help connect renewable generation, storage and hybrid projects to the NEM.

You will lead grid modelling using PSS E, PSCAD and PowerFactory, develop capability, and contribute to business growth through relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in power systems; grid advisory and modelling experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor diverse teams.
• Qualifications in electrical engineering; RPEQ registration preferred.
• Proficient with PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grid connection modelling and generation control systems.
