Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Principal Presales Customer Engineer based in Canberra. You will own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption, operating as a quota-carrying technologist with AI-augmented workflows.

The role emphasizes architecture design, strategic alignment, and driving measurable business outcomes across the customer journey. You will partner with Account Executives to build compelling demonstrations, deliver PoCs, and translate product value to C-suite stakeholders

Qualifications

• Customer-facing technical background with solutions engineering or sales engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of web security, networking, DNS, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience using Cloudflare's developer stack or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with account executives and design bespoke architectures.
• Deliver product demonstrations and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Act as trusted advisor through onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
• Carry a quota tied to new business or account growth and conduct QBRs.
• Leverage AI agents to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate advisory work.
