Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to advance our technical go-to-market strategy. You will own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion, partnering with Account Executives to craft bespoke architectures that demonstrate Cloudflare’s value.

You’ll operate as a quota-carrying technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil and focus on high-value architecture, design reviews, and executive briefings across security, networking, and developer

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Broad technical expertise across web security, networking, cloud infra and enterprise architecture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to bridge technical details with C-suite strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and design bespoke architectures.
• Act as trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, renewal and expansion.
• Align long-term technical goals with Cloudflare’s product roadmap and business value.
• Drive quarterly business reviews to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic advisory.
