Job summary

Blackwoods, a Wesfarmers company, is seeking a Senior People Experience Business Partner to support our Regional Operations leaders across a national Trade Store network. You’ll drive workforce and people strategies, lead talent initiatives and guide significant transformation across 50+ locations and ~480 team members.

You’ll partner with leaders to coach performance, manage employee and industrial relations matters, and shape the workforce of a large customer-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant HR Business Partnering experience within complex operational environments.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HR qualifications highly regarded but other degrees will be considered.
• Strong ER and IR expertise, including EBA.
• Demonstrated success leading organisational change and transformation programs.
• Strong capability in workforce planning, talent management and succession planning.
• Proven ability to influence, challenge and coach senior leaders.
• Highly collaborative, commercially minded and comfortable working both strategically and hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to execute workforce and people strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning and talent initiatives to build future leadership capability.
• Support significant business transformation and organisational change programs.
• Coach, challenge and influence leaders to strengthen performance, accountability and engagement.
• Drive improvements across retention, attendance, performance management and leadership effectiveness.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, industrial relations and risk management matters.
• Lead enterprise bargaining activities and maintain productive union relationships.
• Use workforce insights, data and metrics to identify opportunities and inform decision making.
• Design and facilitate leadership development and capability-building initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships across People, Safety, Talent Acquisition and operational leadership teams.
