EVT is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll for Australia, New Zealand weekly employees and corporate entities. You will act as a payroll expert on Dayforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance while partnering with HRIS, Recruitment, and Finance to keep data clean and auditable.

You will mentor team members, drive process improvements and support internal/external audits, while handling complex deductions and NZ-specific legislation.

Qualificações

• 4–6 years of experience in end-to-end Australian payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (Fair Work, PAYG, STP, superannuation).
• Advanced experience in payroll systems (Dayforce preferred).
• Excel expertise (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations).
• Experience with HRIS or recruitment systems for lifecycle mgmt.
• Ability to interpret awards and policy changes with confidence.
• Ability to deliver payroll accurately under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with payroll integration or transformation projects is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end Australia, NZ and corporate payroll processes with inputs, validations, approvals and reconciliations.
• Perform payroll reviews and sign-off ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
• Interpret NZ Holidays Act, KiwiSaver, PAYE, ACC for pay outcomes.
• Handle payroll lifecycle actions like transfers and rehires via recruitment portal.
• Coordinate with Finance to allocate payroll costs to GL and reconciliations.
• Respond to complex payroll queries for employees, managers, auditors and regulators.
• Mentor Payroll Officers and drive consistency in daily processing.
• Lead process improvements and drive automation in payroll.
• Ensure timely processing of third-party deductions (KiwiSaver, child support, union dues, salary sacrifice).
• Maintain data security and audit readiness; support audits with accurate records.
• Maintain and improve payroll procedures for future needs.
