Job summary

EVT is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll for Australia, New Zealand weekly employees and corporate entities. You will act as a payroll SME, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local legislation and EVT policies.

In this role, you will mentor Payroll Officers, partner with HRIS, Recruitment and Finance, and support audits with transparent payroll records. A strong day-to-day focus on data integrity and cyber security is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of end-to-end Australian payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (Fair Work, PAYG, STP).
• Advanced Dayforce experience or equivalent payroll system.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Australia, NZ, and corporate payrolls weekly.
• Review payroll outputs and sign-off, ensuring compliance.
• Interpret NZ Holidays Act, KiwiSaver, PAYE, ACC for pay outcomes.
• Support HRIS, Recruitment and Finance with data accuracy.
• Mentor Payroll Officers and lead process improvements.
• Assist internal and external audits with documentation and readiness.
• Ensure timely processing of third-party deductions (KiwiSaver, child support).
• Maintain data security and privacy per IT policy.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulators as needed.
