Job summary

Rabobank Australia is seeking a Senior Banking Operations Specialist - Payments to lead day-to-day payments operations, investigations and exception handling. This hands-on role requires coaching, strong stakeholder engagement and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver high-quality service.

You will act as the manager's delegate, oversee workflow, and contribute to risk management, policy compliance and process enhancements while partnering with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in banking operations, payments or related financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and second-in-charge support for payments operations.
• Coach and develop team members; drive knowledge sharing and quality reviews.
• Lead continuous improvement, process changes and risk mitigation activities.
• Manage complex customer requests, payment investigations and escalations with focus on service.
• Engage stakeholders and support system testing, change projects and operational resilience initiatives.
