Job summary

Rabobank Australia seeks a Senior Banking Operations Specialist – Account Servicing to lead complex servicing tasks across account handling, limits, and customer authority updates. You will coach the team, manage workflow and drive improvements in controls and service quality.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Compliance and Technology to deliver outstanding service while supporting regulatory obligations and customer outcomes aligned with Rabobank standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience across customer operations, account servicing or payments processing
• Strong understanding of banking operations, processes & customer servicing
• Knowledge of the Code of Banking Practice, AML, FATCA & Australian regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to coach & influence in a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management & problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset & focus on delivering customer outcomes

About the role

Accounts Servicing within COO Domains Operations Australia business, is responsible for client facility setup, maintenance & account servicing activities such as limits, loan increases, margins, customer authority changes etc across Rabobank Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist - Account Servicing Operations to join our Sydney team. Reporting to the Manager, Banking Operations - Account Servicing, you’ll act as the team’s second-in-charge, providing day-to-day coaching, guidance & operational expertise while supporting the delivery of high-quality account servicing activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a banking operations professional who enjoys solving complex issues, supporting others & driving continuous improvement & identifying opportunities to continuously improve the way we work.

Top Role Accountabilities:

• A strong understanding of banking operations, processes & customer servicing
• Knowledge of the Code of Banking Practice, AML, FATCA & other relevant Australian regulatory requirements
• A proven ability to coach & positively influence others in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management & problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities
• Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends & turn insights into action
• A continuous improvement mindset & a passion for delivering operational excellence & great customer outcomes
