Job summary

Early Start Australia Pty is seeking a Speech Pathologist for our Toowong clinic to deliver evidence-based, goal-focused paediatric therapy. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and families across clinic, home, school and community settings.

You will develop personalised therapy programs, collaborate with other health professionals, and contribute to reporting, funding reviews and professional development. Flexible hours and strong support for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Evidence-based and goal-focused therapeutic intervention in an early intervention and/or paediatric allied health setting.
• Ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Engage with a range of children, families and external stakeholders.
• Senior clinical knowledge with significant experience in the discipline.
• Experience mentoring, supervising and/or supporting others in the same discipline.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
• Exceptional observational and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently within and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services across clinic, home, school and community settings as required.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals.
• Record treatment notes in PMS within 24 hours of sessions and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
• Align therapy plans with funding and funding types; review NDIS plans when relevant.
• Participate in team meetings, peer reviews and case discussions; pursue CPD opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, child safety, privacy and professional codes of conduct.
