Bayside Council in the Bayside LGA is seeking a Senior Operations Technician – Waste and Cleansing Services to lead a small outdoor crew and manage day-to-day field work. The role involves overseeing operations, coordinating tasks, and sometimes driving medium or heavy rigid vehicles from either the Bexley or Mascot depots.
The position is full-time and permanent with a 9-day fortnight, an RDO, and a weekly rate of 1,463–1,623 AUD including allowances plus 12% super.

The Leading Hand assists Team Leaders to deliver a program of scheduled, proactive and reactive works in line with Council’s service levels and guarantees. The role is responsible for the day to day over‑seeing of small team(s) that conduct a wide range of activities and to ensure that all allocated work and/or programs are met. Duties may involve driving medium and/or heavy rigid vehicles. This role will be based at either our Bexley or Mascot Depot.
