Job summary

Bayside Council is seeking an Operations Technician for Landscape Services in Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on hands-on landscaping, park maintenance, litter clearing, and operating a range of tools and equipment, with training provided on the job.

Landscape Services - Operations Technician

What you will do:

• Assist with landscaping and garden maintenance activities
• Carrying our general park and grounds maintenance
• Clearing litter, debris and green waste
• Operating and maintaining a range of tools, machinery and equipment
• Learning safe and effective working practices on the job

You’ll receive hands-on training and guidance to build your skills and confidence. We'll teach you everything you need to know about the plant, tools, and equipment used in in landscaping and parks maintenance.

About You

• General schooling to Year 10 or 12 and/or relevant experience
• A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card)
• Current Driver’s License

Desirable

• Current "Chem Use" accreditation OR willingness to obtain during probation period

Salary & Benefits:

$1,253 to $1,403 per week (includes adverse working conditions allowance per week $19.49 pw) plus 12% Superannuation.
