Job summary

dnata catering & retail is seeking an experienced Operations Leading Hand to join our Sydney airport catering team. You will lead and coordinate daily catering activities to ensure aircraft are serviced efficiently and on schedule, while upholding safety, quality and regulatory standards.

You will supervise and train team members, perform Driver/Marshaller duties when required, and drive a strong team culture with a proactive hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive hands-on approach with ability to lead by example.
• Experience in fast-paced, operational environments.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and high service standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Valid Australian MR Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate catering operations to ensure on-time aircraft servicing.
• Supervise, train and support team members.
• Lead by example by performing Driver/Marshaller duties when required.
• Allocate resources and manage workflow to meet operational targets.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and compliance.
• Complete required reporting and administrative tasks.
• Maintain safety, quality and regulatory standards (HACCP, WHS).
• Provide professional communication and customer service.
