Job summary

Optus is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist – Observability & NMS to define strategy, governance, and deployment of fault and performance monitoring across the 4G/5G network transformation. You will lead across engineering, operations, and vendor teams, building roadmaps and partnerships to support Optus' network evolution.

The role requires senior leadership, deep expertise in observability, KPI governance, and strong collaboration with executive leadership to drive continuous service

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in fault and performance management technologies and observability strategy.
• Proven knowledge of 4G/5G, core, IMS, transport and fixed networks.
• Experience defining enterprise observability, KPI and quality governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the fault and performance monitoring roadmaps for network domains.
• Provide strategic leadership for observability programs across networks and enterprise services.
• Lead senior vendor relationships, governance, and partnerships to maximise value.
• Establish enterprise observability, assurance, and KPI frameworks to improve performance visibility.
