Job summary

Optus Enterprise is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist – Observability and NMS to shape strategy, governance, and deployment of Fault and Performance Monitoring across the network, enabling strong operational assurance and fault visibility for Optus' 4G/5G transformation.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships and budgets, establish enterprise observability frameworks and KPI governance, and translate telemetry into actionable insights for engineering and executive

Qualifications

8–12 years OSS or engineering experience.
Relevant degree and industry certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Define and own the Fault and Performance Monitoring capability roadmaps across network domains.
Provide strategic leadership for observability programs across networks and managed services.
Lead vendor relationships, governance, and technology partnerships to maximise value.
Establish enterprise-wide observability, assurance, and KPI frameworks.
Translate telemetry into strategic recommendations for engineering and executive leadership.
Build and lead a high-performing observability team.
