Beenleigh Mall Medical Centre in Beenleigh, QLD, is seeking a Senior Medical Receptionist to join two clinics. The role focuses on front-of-house management, patient service and coordination with clinical staff.

You will handle bookings, billing, records and mentor junior reception staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Experience with Best Practice or Medical Director is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and practice procedures.
• Experience with Medicare and medical billing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong time-management abilities.
• A professional, calm and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with professional, friendly service.
• Managing appointments, bookings, cancellations and recalls.
• Answering telephone enquiries and patient requests.
• Processing payments, Medicare and private billing.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
• Liaising with doctors, nurses and external providers.
• Assisting with day-to-day reception operations.
• Mentoring junior reception staff and supporting team.
