Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a senior Manufacturing CI Engineer to own the CI program, map current/future value streams, and lead Kaizen events to improve cycle time and quality on electromechanical production lines.

You will develop PFMEA, SOPs, and tooling requirements, collaborating with mechanical design, QA, and suppliers to drive producibility and supplier readiness. Strong problem-solving and leadership in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing or process engineering with CI/Lean experience.
• Experience with PFMEA, supplier industrialisation, and DFX in electromechanical production.
• Strong problem-solving using 8D, A3, DMAIC, 5-Why, Ishikawa methods.
• Hands-on DFM/DFA reviews with design engineers to improve producibility.
• Ability to specify tooling/fixtures and collaborate with designers to implement.
• Experience auditing suppliers and leading production readiness reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing CI program, lead value stream mapping and Kaizen events.
• Drive yield improvements and scrap reduction from data to countermeasures.
• Use 8D/5-Why and DMAIC for root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Identify bottlenecks from line layout, staffing, and constraints to improve throughput.
• Develop PFMEA and ensure Control Plans are current and linked.
• Create and maintain SOPs for equipment and processes used on the floor.
• Interface with mechanical design for tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Support capital equipment justification and automation needs.
• Collaborate with QA and supply chain on supplier industrialisation and audits.
• Embed DFM features in product design and disseminate lessons learned to NPIs.
• Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team environment.
