Job summary

Social Futures is seeking a Senior Manager Women’s DFV Homelessness Services to lead high-quality services for women and children experiencing DFV and homelessness. The role is fixed-term full-time, based in Tweed Heads or Lismore until December 2027, with travel across Northern NSW sites.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in social work or related fields and demonstrated management experience in DFV/homelessness services, with a trauma-informed, culturally safe approach.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in social work, social science, social welfare, psychology, or similar.
• Experience in managing teams in social/human services fields, with DFV and homelessness exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of current service delivery models in community housing, family support and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise frontline program leaders and counsellors.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, safety and service quality.
• Ensure service delivery meets SLAs and organisational frameworks.
• Monitor financial expenditure and acquittals.
• Drive quality improvement and outcome-focused practices.
• Oversee quality, safety and risk management across teams.
• Collaborate with ACCOs, Elders and local stakeholders; travel across Northern NSW sites.
