Job summary

Domestic Violence NSW Service Management (trading as Human & Co) in Western Sydney is seeking a part-time DFV Practitioner to provide short-term therapeutic support and crisis case management to women and their children in crisis. The role runs 3 days per week (22.8 hours) and operates across Western Sydney with occasional city office duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Counselling or Psychotherapy (essential).
• Post graduate training in DFV and trauma informed service delivery (desirable).
• Mental Health First Aid certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term therapeutic support and crisis case management to women and children in Western Sydney.
• Assess risk, plan for safety, and connect clients with accommodation and longer-term supports.
• Hold a crisis caseload and assist with referrals, emergency relief and outreach.
• Attend Outreach Hubs to reach clients who cannot attend the office.
• Document case notes in CIMS and prepare reports and safety/incident records.
• Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision; engage in ongoing learning.
