Job summary

ClearView is seeking a Principle/Senior Underwriter in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to lead risk assessment and placement of life insurance risks within a dynamic, evolving structure. The role offers autonomy and opportunities to re-engineer processes in a hybrid work model.

You will report into a collaborative team, manage adviser, doctor and reinsurer relationships, and contribute to governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Financial Planning required.
• Diploma of Life Insurance required.
• Chartered Insurance Institute / Academy of Life Underwriting qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of risks and placement of life insurance risks.
• Convey terms to advisers and insureds.
• Liaise with doctors, accountants and reinsurers involved in risk contracts.
• Mentor Underwriters and Tele Interview Consultants.
• Support governance and reporting tasks within the function.
