ClearView Wealth is seeking a Principle/Senior Underwriter to join a dynamic team in Australia (Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne). You will assess and place life insurance risks, manage contracts and liaise with advisers, insureds and external partners, while mentoring junior staff and driving governance and reporting improvements.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office and remote days, exposure to a transformative Zurich-backed environment, and opportunities to shape underwriting

Qualifikationen

• Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent required.
• Diploma of Life Insurance or equivalent required.
• Chartered Insurance Institute or Academy of Life Underwriting qualifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess and place life insurance risks presented to ClearView.
• Manage all parties to the risk contract and governance/reporting tasks.
• Mentor underwriters and tele interview consultants.
• Liaise with advisers, insureds, doctors, accountants and reinsurers.
• Build strong professional partnerships with suppliers and advisers.
• Convey terms to advisers and insureds.
