Job summary

Cadence Connect is seeking a technically strong Senior Level 2 Support Engineer to join a collaborative MSP technical team in Brisbane. You will own escalated incidents, troubleshoot complex networking across Fortinet/Meraki environments and support Microsoft 365 cloud services, Windows Server, AD and Entra ID.

Qualifications

• Strong Level 2 experience, ideally within an MSP.
• Solid networking knowledge across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, switches and network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of escalated technical incidents and troubleshoot complex Level 2 issues.
• Diagnose networking problems across firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP and WAN connectivity.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune and related cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and broader infrastructure environments.
• Investigate Fortinet and Meraki networking issues, including VPN connectivity and network performance.
• Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Contribute to infrastructure deployments, technical projects and customer environment improvements.
• Support and mentor junior engineers while sharing knowledge across the team.
