Job summary

An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and skilled leader at St Joseph's. We are seeking a Senior Leader (POL 2) to drive Learning and Teaching and to be significantly involved in the administration of our school. This full-time ongoing role combines leadership (approx. 3 days/week), focusing on Learning and Teaching, alongside flexible classroom teaching (approx. 2 days/week).

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and positive senior leader to join us at St Joseph's. This role will be a combination of flexible classroom teaching across 2 or more classrooms (2 days each week) and a leadership role, 3 days each week, approximately.
The Senior Leader: Learning, Teaching and Administration is a key member of the school's leadership team, working closely with the Principal to foster a culture of excellence in learning, teaching and wellbeing across the school.
This role provides strategic leadership for curriculum, pedagogy and assessment while supporting the development and effectiveness of middle leaders and classroom teachers. The position also carries significant responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the school, ensuring organisational effectiveness and continuity of leadership.
The successful applicant will be an approachable, collaborative and highly skilled educator who inspires others through their expertise, supports staff to grow professionally, and demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning through professional development and further study.
