Job summary

The Department of Defence seeks an EL 1 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager to lead the development and implementation of supportability and sustainment strategies across complex capability programs. The role provides strategic advice, manages sustainment risks, and delivers ILS outcomes that support readiness, affordability, and operational effectiveness throughout the capability life cycle.

As part of the AESA SPO, you will work with Defence stakeholders and industry partners to ensure

Qualifications

Extensive experience in logistics, sustainment, or acquisition within large organisations.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
Experience with supportability analysis, sustainment planning, and governance in complex programs.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of ILS strategies across complex capability programs.
Provide strategic advice to Defence and industry stakeholders and manage sustainment risks.
Deliver ILS outcomes that support readiness, affordability, and operational effectiveness throughout the life cycle.
Develop and implement governance and risk management processes for sustainment activities.
