  • Fyshwick - ACT
The Role

The Active Electronically Scanned Array Systems Program Office (AESA SPO) manages the strategic commercial relationship between the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) and CEA Technologies Pty Limited (CEA) and supports the delivery of Government-to-Government (G2G) export programs for advanced AESA capabilities.

As an EL 1 leader, the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager exercises a high degree of independence, accountability, and judgment to lead the development and implementation of supportability and sustainment strategies across complex capability programs.

The role provides strategic advice to senior Defence and industry stakeholders, manages critical sustainment risks and opportunities, and leads the delivery of ILS outcomes that support capability readiness, affordability, and operational effectiveness throughout the capability life cycle.

About our Team

The ILS team is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) outcomes that ensure AESA capabilities are supportable, sustainable, and operationally effective throughout their life cycle. The team leads key functions including supportability analysis, sustainment planning, maintenance management, configuration management, technical data, training, supply support, and logistics risk management.

Working closely with CEA Technologies, Defence stakeholders, and industry partners, the team develops and implements support solutions that enable capability readiness and long-term sustainment. The ILS team directly supports the AESA SPO's mission by ensuring that AESA systems are delivered with effective and affordable support arrangements, reducing sustainment risk and enhancing operational availability.

Through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and the application of ILS best practice, the team contributes to the successful acquisition, sustainment, and export delivery of advanced AESA capabilities for Defence and international partners.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader with a strong background in logistics, sustainment, commercial management, or acquisition activities within large and complex organisations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic advice, and deliver supportability and sustainment outcomes that contribute to capability readiness and operational effectiveness.

You will exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement while operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. You will possess strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across Defence, industry, and international partners.

Experience in supportability analysis, sustainment planning, risk management, and governance within complex operational, asset management, or program delivery environments is highly desirable.
