Electro Optic Systems in Canberra seeks an ILS Team Lead to coordinate and deliver all ILS requirements on Australian Defence projects and EOS initiatives. You will work across Systems Engineering, Aftermarket and Services to meet customer quality and budget targets.

You will lead logistics planning, prepare Integrated Support Plans and provisioning lists, engage with customers to secure acceptance, and apply lifecycle cost modelling to optimise logistics operations.

Formación

• Qualifications or significant experience in an ILS domain.
• Experience working within CASG environment.
• Ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
• Minimum 3 years in similar role.
• Experience in defence sector highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, capture and allocate all Logistic requirements to resources.
• Draft project Logistics documentation (Integrated Support Plans, Codification Data, Technical Data Lists, Recommended Provisioning Lists and other ILS docs).
• Manage delivery of all Logistic requirements for the Project and engage with customer for Acceptance.
• Apply life cycle cost modelling and logistics support analysis techniques to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement processes to support acquisition and sustainment of equipment per Defence requirements.
• Participate in ILS Planning workshops and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Engage Project Managers regarding deliverables.

The ILS Team Lead is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all ILS requirements relating to Australian Defence projects and other EOS projects as required. The role will be responsible for working with all aspects of the Systems Engineering discipline, along with the Aftermarket and Services and Programs team to ensure that all ILS requirements are met on time, within budget and to the customer’s quality requirements.

The ILS Team Lead will be required to address some logistic engineering tasks from time to time and to work directly with the Customers to understand and deliver to their requirements. A solid background and understand of Australian Defence Logistics is required for this role.

Primary Duties

• Ensure that all the project’s Logistic requirements are identified, captured and allocated to appropriate resources.
• Draft project Logistics documentation as required. This includes, but is not limited to Integrated Support Plans, Codification Data, Technical Data Lists, Recommended Provisioning Lists and other ILS documentation.
• Manage the delivery of all Logistic requirements for the allocated Project and engage with the customer to ensure Customer Acceptance.
• Ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations by employing life cycle cost modelling and logistics support analysis techniques
• Implement processes and procedures to support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements
• Participate in ILS Planning workshops and work collaboratively with stakeholders
• Engage the Project Managers and the Project Management Group as required regarding deliverables.
