Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Senior ICT Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support across hardware, software, networking and end-user issues, while maintaining and improving the organisation's ICT infrastructure.

You will combine senior service desk duties with systems administration, mentor junior staff and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver projects, migrations and ongoing service improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a senior Service Desk, ICT Support or Systems Administration role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint and Intune.
• Sound understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, DNS and TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT support for hardware, software, network, application, and end-user issues, including managing escalations and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents and service requests while maintaining accurate ticketing, documentation, and communication.
• Administer and support core infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, networking, file services, and endpoint management.
• Manage and support corporate ICT assets, including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, MDM solutions, and business applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects, upgrades, migrations, technical documentation, and continuous service improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within the ICT team, supporting junior staff, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to a positive team culture.
