Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Canberra is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to provide advanced IT support across hardware, software, networking, and end-user issues while contributing to the administration of the ICT environment. The role blends senior service desk duties with systems administration to ensure reliability, security and performance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 desktop environments.
• Solid networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Experience managing ICT assets and endpoint devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT support for hardware, software, network, application, and end-user issues, including managing escalations and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents and service requests while maintaining accurate ticketing, documentation, and communication.
• Administer and support core infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, networking, file services, and endpoint management.
• Manage and support corporate ICT assets, including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, MDM solutions, and business applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects, upgrades, migrations, technical documentation, and continuous service improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within the ICT team, supporting junior staff, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to a positive team culture.
